The Purpose of the Via Christi Society is:

• the sanctification of the members by a regular and definite life of prayer
• the sanctification of the family of God, catechetics, health care for the needy, education of the highest standard, promotion of the Kingdom in community and civic life and the pursuit of justice for all, especially the most oppressed. Members will see Jesus Christ in each other and in all whom they serve.
